Witch painting

Not to long ago a finished a painting of a witch that I thought that I would share.

This is a "work in progress " of one of the personal projects that I am currently working on. The sketch was done traditionally and then scanned in to be painted digitally. This is steps one and two after I finished the penciled lines and blocked out most of the essential colors. From here I will add a bit more color to bring it all together before I start detailing the piece.

Here is an example of some of my linework. Its an older piece but one that I will hopefully be throwing some color onto soon.

Frostbite-painting

I guess I should post this in the actual blog being that it is the first and just incase it ever makes it out of the portfolio section since I probably will only reserve that for a few images. This is also a good way of posting the linework next to the paints for anybody that wants to see.
